Our Story
After almost 15 years in the pest control industry, Dan along his wife, Ann-Marie decided to embark on a small business journey. Over the years, they have been incredibly fortunate to have some great mentors to help guide and show them the winning path to success.
Tick Sniper was created to provide much needed pest control services in the Bangor, Maine area. These services, mainly focused on ticks(hence the name "Tick Sniper"), have been developed to provide the people of Maine an affordable, effective, and proven method of controlling Vector-Carrying Ticks and other unwanted insects.
At Tick Sniper, we strive to offer HONEST and EFFECTIVE solutions for your pest control needs. Tick Sniper will not provide you products or services that you do not need. Every service plan will be built specifically for you, the customer, with a focus on exceeding your expectations and adhering to your budget.

Owner
Dan was originally raised in Old Town, Maine where shortly after High School he decided to join the United States Marine Corps. Most of his time in the Marine Corps was spent as a Field Artillery Cannoneer before being promoted to a Field Artillery Section Chief. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2005 Dan moved back to Maine where he worked for the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and then eventually moving onto The Penobscot Job Corps Academy as the Military Prep Instructor. Dan eventually found his way into pest control, first landing a job at his Uncle's local pest control company. As time moved on, Dan began working for a new company focused on pest control and lawn care applications. Fast-forward to 2024, Dan decided it was time to branch out on his own and started what is now Tick Sniper. Dan is an avid outdoorsman who lives for hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoys spring and summer days catching bass. In the fall, Dan can be found either searching for elusive moose or up in his tree stand waiting for a beautiful Maine Whitetail Deer. Dan and his wife, Ann-Marie, have raised 3 beautiful daughters, Emily, Lynsie, and Lyndsay at their home in Hermon. Dan has 15 years of experience in the pest control field and is a Maine Master Commercial Pesticide Applicator, with subcategories of biting fly, turf, structural, and rights of way.
Ann-Marie Love
Office Manager
Ann-Marie, a true Downeaster, grew up in Birch Harbor surrounded by the gorgeous coastline and Schoodic National park. Ann-Marie has worked much of her adult life as a Dental Assistant where she has excelled. Through her hard work and determination she became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. In Ann-Marie's spare time she loves to go camping, kayaking, she enjoys a good book, and spending time with Gunner & Bentley.
Gunner Fidelis
Treats & Snacks Coordinator
Gunner is a 10 year old Yellow Lab coming to us from Holden, Maine. Dan and Ann-Marie got Gunner as a hunting dog, but don't let his name fool you... Gunner does not hunt anything other than bones and table scraps. During his spare time, which is all the time, he can be found napping on the couch or in front of the floor heater. Gunner is as loyal as dogs get, he loves his people unconditionally and has the ability to turn anyone's bad mood into a smile.
Bentley(Beefy)
Assistant Treats & Snacks Coordinator
Bentley(also known as Beefy due to his exquisite physique) is an 8 year old Lab/Pit mix with an absolute heart of gold. He comes to us from Jay, Maine. In Bentley's free time he can be found on the couch staring out the window in anticipation for his "mum" to come home from work. He is a master at fetch, and "lets" Dan & Ann-Marie throw the football for him MULTIPLE times per day. Bentley is a total Momma's boy, but has love for everyone.
